Pieruzo (ピエルーゾ, Pierūzo) is a Black Whistle Delver who is acquainted with Cravagli and Tepaste.

Appearance

Pieruzo is a man of slim figure and messy hair. He wears a trench coat, a simple cap, and half-rim glasses, as well as a pair of gloves. His eyes are sharp and have small pupils.

Personality

Pieruzo appears to be easygoing but determined, displaying no motivations other than a whim while protecting Tepaste.

History

Curse Fleet Arc

At some point in time, a group of people belonging to Under Nation, who are travelling with a young Tepaste, get attacked by an Orb Piercer after being confronted by a group of Delvers. Pieruzo makes an appearance and guides Tepaste through the situation so the Orb Piercer doesn't notice her, due to the creature's ability to read consciousness.

Pieruzo claims to have come for a woman, a bride, after hearing about a Priestess candidate, but is disappointed to find a little girl in her place. A dying member of Under Nation comes crawling to stop him from touching the Priestess candidate, calling him a "thief." Pieruzo tries to cheer Tepaste by claiming her life is ahead of her so she can go enjoy it, unlike the dying man, which Tepaste denies to be possible due to the way she was brought up with Under Nation.

Pieruzo presents Tepaste with a Forgetter so she can be saved from the attacks of the creature, to some extent. Tepaste asks Pieruzo why he's helping her, and he replies, "I felt like it." After entering the device, Tepaste goes against Pieruzo's instructions and attempts to grab the Orb Piercer's attention to allow Pieruzo some leeway, but his fate is unknown.

Abilities

Pieruzo himself is a competent delver and an expert at cave raiding, thus holding the rank of a Black Whistle. His extensive knowledge of the Abyss allowed him to aid Tepaste, and due to his talents, he can enter the 4th and 5th Layer.

Double Pop Blaster

Pieruzo can be seen wielding a Double Pop Blaster against the Orb Piercer, with a resemblance to Tepaste's own Popple Gun.
