Together with Papa (パパといっしょ, Papa to Issho) is a short musical initially released in the first Blu-ray volume of Made in Abyss Season 2, The Golden City of the Scorching Sun.[1] The OVA was later included in the English Blu-ray release of Made in Abyss Season 2.[2]
Synopsis[]
The short begins with Prushka being helped by Gueira in handing out papier-mâché whistles to the Failed Umbra Hands, to which Gueira then asks what about her own whistle, leaving Prushka to ponder.
Prushka then thinks about the reason she's different from them and doesn't need a whistle of her own, her answer lies in the name her Papa gave her. She then asks Meinya for help and gets to working on a way to repay Bondrewd for this gift.
We then see a series of clips of Prushka, accompanied by Meinya, Gueira and the Failed Umbra Hands, trying and failing at making something for Bondrewd, Including: Making food, making a chair, making tea, making a mask, washing and fishing.
Finally, Prushka thinks of something she might succeed at: Making custom pajamas. However, much to her dismay, Meinya falls from the ceiling onto a glass of blue paint staining the newly made custom pajamas.
Prushka then goes along with Gueira, who explains the situation to Bondrewd, crying and apologizing for accidentally staining her new present. Bondrewd reassures Prushka that there's nothing to apologize and Prushka decides on singing to him in turn for the pajamas.
Prushka then starts singing a song to Bondrewd while he lays down on what appears to be a surgery chair and Gueira watches over them holding said pajamas. The song goes as follows:

After singing, Prushka drifts to sleep herself and Bondrewd thanks her for the song and the pajamas, while Meinya runs around soaked in blue paint. The camera slowly zooms in on a Failed Umbra Hand wearing the whistle from Prushka with the words inscribed "Thanks for everything you do – From Prushka".

- Scenes of Prushka gifting papier-mâché whistles to Failed Umbra Hands had been given storyboards for Made in Abyss Movie 3: Dawn of the Deep Soul, but were cut during the production.[3][4] The scenes were subsequently adapted for the OVA.
- The OVA begins with an introductory title card reminiscent of classic American cartoon productions such as Looney Tunes and Disney.[5][6]
