SPOILER WARNING!

Lyza's Notes (not to be confused with Lyza's Letter, which often accompanies Lyza's Notes) refer to a series of writings authored by Lyza the Annihilator, a legendary White Whistle Delver, while on her Last Dive. Included are field notes documenting rare Abyssal organisms, survival advice, and cooking recommendations. While most of the contents found their way to Orth, fragments were later found in Iruburu's Market of Value, in the 6th Layer.[1][2]
Topics[]
Stingerhead []
In the Sandstone Region of the Sea of Corpses on the 5th Layer, I came across seven-tailed scorpions.
Each tail contains a poison that melts flesh and bone, and each scorpion has a set of seven of them. On top of that, they're over two meters tall.
The discolored areas of sandstone are the remains of the poor wretches who these things have melted through with their poison. There is a distinct odor that surrounds their nests. It's akin to the smell produced when vomit is dried out and burned. Those who have not made any vomit smoke signals before coming here will probably die.
I've decided to call these "Stingerheads". Their meat is not fit for consumption.
Emperorshell []
I encountered this one lizard—a lizard that matures in its egg—while sheltering from the rain on the 6th Layer. Although the juvenile form is fierce, it doesn't take all that much effort to make a meal out of one. They're very tasty.
Thanks to their shells, they appear to be unfazed by the iron rain.
As long as one of these guys lives, it'll just keep on growing. What's more, their life spans are ridiculously long. The biggest one I saw was about 30 meters tall.
Despite that enormous size, it was still every bit as ferocious. Whether its meat is also just as tasty is a question I'll leave for those who come after me to answer. I'm calling this one an "Emperorshell".
Hermit Dweller []
The mammals that take up residence in various different "homes" are really damn cute. These guys live quietly in the city areas of the sixth layer. Although they probably use their homes as a form of camouflage, they are always getting eaten by Sakawataris.
Their sharp teeth seem to aid them in making their homes. While they're capable of growing accustomed to humans, they won't hesitate to bite if you try to eat them. They can really make you bleed, so be careful…
Ever since I tamed one, I'm never without a pillow. I'll call these "Hermit-Dwellers."
Human-like Silhouette []
Human-like Silhouette, identity unknown…
I encountered it while approaching the 7th Layer.
For a while now, it has been intently observing me. Damn idiot—I'm watching you too, you know.
It's about the size of a human child and looks to be dressed in rags.
Its limbs and head seem too large for its body. Some kind of armor, perhaps? It didn't give off the impression of being a "Hollow," however…
When I tried calling out to it, it ran away. It went up, jumping with a strength that astonished me.
To leap so effortlessly at this depth… maybe it's not human…?
I do not know… But I'm getting closer to the answer.
Amaranthine-Deceptor []
I like the Flowers of Fortitude. They're always proudly blooming one after the other. Their fruit is aromatic and invigorating… Plus, they're found all over The Abyss.
However, take care in the flower fields of the 6th Layer. If you spot one of these guys among the leaves, then you've found their nest.
They disguise themselves as the beloved Flowers of Fortitude… and will attack and implant their larvae inside organisms that come near them.
The victim's head is invaded and becomes a living food source for their larvae. Adults will occasionally enter through a victim's mouth. They probably do this to feed the victim, thereby making this living food source last longer. It's feared that they've ben cultivated.
There are many structures here, so the flower garden won't grown any larger… but if they were to spread to the other layers… wouldn't the environment which is filled with Eternal Fortunes, be ruined…?
These creatures which came forth from the impenetrable 6th Layer… have been dubbed "Amaranthine-Deceptors." It's said that the adult insects are suitable as food…
Turbinid-Dragon []
Turbinid Dragons. They have poisonous scales that rupture when struck. Nevertheless, males fight by aggressively slamming into each other.
They're tenacious and move freely in three dimensions without any regard to the Curse.
In the 6th Layer, one of them is as dangerous as a swarm aof Amaranthine-Deceptors.
Mizojack []
They live near geothermal vents and are docile.
Their freshly laid eggs are pretty good!
Uranaguapu []
It is located in?
Is the creature controlling these foreign bodies known by man?Gallery[]
