Interference Units (干渉器 (かんしょうき) , Kanshōki) are robots capable of independent thought and actions. An Interference Unit's purpose is to "observe and touch to gather knowledge".

They are capable of quickly learning languages by imitating them. According to Gaburoon, Interference Units were placed in each layer, at one point, and they don't cross into other layers.

Interference Units are capable of sending transmissions to each other to exchange information.

Their combat ability seemingly differs between models, seeing as Gaburoon can fend off predators, while the units Ganja encountered were easily captured by them.

An interference Unit left at the 1^st Layer. It emits a powerful beam from its right hand and is extremely tough.

An interference Unit left at the 2^nd Layer.There are wheels equipped on the abdomen and legs, giving it high mobility.

An interference Unit left at the 3^rd Layer. It doesn't appear to be like any living creature. Its structure is like a spinning top, making its body resemble a giant antenna.

An interference Unit left at the 4^th Layer. The stick part extending from its shoulder is assumed to function like some sort of sensor.

An interference Unit left at the 5^th Layer. It has a whip. The stomach part is a storage space made to store something, but due to its erosion, its purpose can't be verified.

Trivia

• Due to design similarities, Gaburoon wondered if Reg and they might share the same creator; noting that Interference Units don't cross layers and them having no data regarding Interference Units of Reg's kind.
• Gaburoon noted that the transmissions from other Interference Units have ceased for quite some time; suggesting they may have malfunctioned or been "taken".
