Gueira (グェイラ, Gueira) is a member of the Umbra Hands stationed at Ido Front.

Appearance

Gueira wears a black whistle and a heavy black cloak that hides his body features. His mask has the pattern of a right angle leading to a circle.

Personality

Gueira is practical and observant. He is loyal to Bondrewd.

History

Early Life

At some point in the past, Gueira tried to treat Prushka, after she had been subjected to The Curse of the Abyss and, as a result, had suffered severe physical and mental trauma. He considered the possibility of simply killing her, as she was deemed of no use, only suffering, until Bondrewd himself approached the girl.

After Prushka recovered, he was charged with taking care of her while Bondrewd was away.

Ido Front Arc

He takes part in the experiment in which Reg's arm is removed and is killed when Riko lures Bondrewd and several Umbra Hands into a nest of Stingerheads.

Medical Knowledge

Gueira is shown to have some medical experience, as shown when he diagnosed Prushka's injuries.

Trivia

• At one point, Gueira is the only Umbra Hand with his name revealed in the main story. Names of other Umbra Hands have been revealed outside the main story by Akihito Tsukushi via Twitter.
• Gueira gifted Prushka with the hat she is commonly seen wearing. Whether or not it was done on Bondrewd's orders is unknown.
• Gueira sounds "sleazy, young, almost like an elder brother". Because Gueira is in charge of taking care of Prushka, she imitates him.
