The Gentle Knock (万能の鍵開け (ジェントルノック) , Gentle Knock, All-Purpose Lockpick^?), is a Third Grade Artifact that have been appraised as useful item for Delvers.

Description

It's a manufactured multi-purpose tool Artifact made from "Thinking Stones" (考 (かんが) える石 (いし) , Kangaeru Ishi) which are frequently excavated in the Great Fault.

The user can control it with their mind, after it has been calibrated. The tip changes form based on thoughts and feelings the user sends to the control unit.

Its pincers can be used for forcing things open and the control unit is located at its other end.

The central protrusion between its pincers can change shape into complex forms to fit different keyholes, but controlling it has a similar difficulty to "moving all your fingers in different ways and different rhythms at the same time."

Therefore, opening keyholes without destroying them requires deep knowledge and expertise, and the utmost concentration.
