Funeral Slips (葬 (そう) 還 (かん) 符 (ふ) , Sōkanfu) are specialized tickets used in Orth funerals. The name of the deceased is written on a slip. The slip, the deceased's ashes, and Eternal Fortunes are scattered into The Abyss, in the belief it will help their soul return to The Abyss.

Description

In addition to the decedent's name, the slips are adorned with the Nether Glyph symbol for "Abyss".

While returning to The Village of Iruburu, Reg observes an abundance of Funeral Slips falling down into the 6^th Layer.

Much later, he shares the Slip and his account of what he saw with the rest of the group, while traveling through the 6^th Layer. Nanachi suggests that the overwhelming amount of Funeral Slips may be the result of multitudes of funerals over a long period of time, all concentrated into a much shorter period of time by the Abyssal time-dilation.

Several Funeral Slips can be seen hanging from an unknown surface seen by Hablog and the Forward Expedition Party, inside the Joint Delving Site within in the 2^nd Layer.
